Lost treasure of Uttarakhand: Gabla Dev festival at Baling village in Darma Valley, Pithoragarh Gabla Dev is a revered regional deity of the Sauka tribe in the Darma and Chaudas valleys of Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva. An annual religious fair (Gabla Dev Mela) is held in his honor during the third week of the Bhadrapad month (August). Gabladev Fair is celebrated every year in the third week of Bhadrapad month. Bhadrapad month normally begins around 22-23rd August.
