Supriya Devi Chaudhary, Bengali actress speaks about her Bengali film 'Meghe Dhaka Tara', a musical drama film released in 1960. She says, "Thre was a scene in the film where I was instructed by the director to cry but not in front of my father so when the character of my father completed his dialogues I turned against him and went outside the room and I cried there. The director of the film Ritwik Ghatak used to give me chocolates after every scene to motivate me. There was a hospital scene in the film and I am supposed to look like a TB patient but I was so thin at that time so I started to eat boiled eggs and potatoes then I became so fat and it was not the look that my crew wanted so I again lost some weight to fit in the character of a TB patient."
