The tomb of Nawab Safdarjung in New Delhi is beautifully erected in sandstone and marble with the chamber ceilings intricately designed in Mughal Empire architecture. A walk among the red sandstone pillars and pavillions leads to the chamber that houses the cenotaph in marble which has also carvings on it.
