A local villager comes across this expensive plant, the root of which is called 'Panja'. It has several medicinal properties and is in great demand with very less supply. Also, it is only found at great heights in the Himalaya.

Nepal

While we were at Mulde Peak we noticed a thick blanket of fog moving fast covering everything in its way. However, we managed to spot Ghorepani from Mulde before it got completely covered in the fog.

Buttercups or Ranunculaceae in the high altitude meadows of Kashmir. Softly Hairy Buttercup is a small erect or spreading herb, usually 6-15 cm high. Base leaves are rounded and deeply cut into broad lobes.

Bell Rhododendron or Rhododendron campanulatum is found only over the height of 3000m in the Himalayas. This particular one was found near Chandrashila peak in Chitkul, Uttarakhand.
