A pair of Indian Grey Mongoose or Herpestes edwardsii are seen outside their burrow at a park. They seem to be eating something which cannot be identified in this clip. Sensing intrusion, they both skip back to the shaded area.

This is a compilation of some of the common urban birds in Delhi. The Rock Pigeon which is exploding in population in all urban areas, Yellow-footed Green Pigeon, Rose-ringed Parakeet which is also quite common.

This female Rose-ringed Parakeet got an unkempt look with portions of its 'beard' a dull black mixed with its green feathers. The close up shows the curved beak and the well defined tongue.

It looks like a crow but with rusty wings and usually distinct red eyes in adults. This is filmed at our Wilderness Orchard in Delhi at the end of winter. We will be seeing more of them in the coming spring.
