Which species of gull would this be, birding viewers? Help us identify the species! It was seen at Nalsarovar in Gujarat. Viewer EpicTyeJ tells us that : "This is a Bonaparte's Gull in Non-breeding Plumage." Thanks! Perhaps this is not the name we use for the same species here in India...? Viewer jonno52 further contributes: "I'm happy to defer to you on the ID of this gull. The bill does strike me as a bit long for Bonaparte's, but in other respects it does fit that species better."
