Standing tall and mighty even after centuries of history happening before it the Qutub Minar is today a favourite among history enthusiasts and tourists. In the backdrop of tall concrete buildings, the red sandstone minaret is a distinct piece of architecture and is also one of UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Lit in the evening and standing out with a brightness and exuding awe in the minds of spectators, the Qutub has been filmed in the evening with a half-moon shining down on it. According to History, the Qutub Minar was built by Qutub Uddin Aibak of the Delhi Sultanate and completed, renovated by other rulers of Delhi.
