Chakhesang tribes love singing and dancing during festivals, in Nagaland

Chakhesang is a Naga tribe found in Nagaland, India. The word Chakhesang comprises three tribes: cha - Chakri, Khe - Khezha, Sang - Sangtam. Chakhesangs are the former Eastern, who have separated from the Angami Naga tribe, and are now recognized as a separate tribe. It is a major tribe in Nagaland. Most of the villages of this tribes falls under the Phek District and Pfutsero,Chozuba sub-division of Nagaland. The Chakhesangs were earlier known as Eastern Angamis and are a combination of the Chakri, Khezha and Sangtam sub-tribes. Now the Chakhesang tribe is spilt further. The tribe is basically divided into two groups known as "Chokri" and "Khezha". The Chakhesang community celebrates seven festivals in a year as shown below; 1. SÜHKRÜHNYE 2. NGUNYE 3. TSAKRONYE 4.
