Gulzar's poetry on the mountains along with Pawan Varma and Sukrita Paul Kumar inside the Parker Hall at Woodstock School, Mussoorie during the Writers' Festival 2012. Gulzar is a renowned poet, filmmaker, lyricist and writer. He has written several collections of poetry including Jaanam, Kuch aur Nazme, Chand Pukhraj Ka, Triveni, and Autumn Moon, and collections of short stories, Chauras Raat, Dhuan, Ravi Paar, Splinter and Other Stories and Kharaashein. Apart from making a significant televsion series on Mirza Ghalib, he has scripted over fifty films including Anand, Guddi, Bawarchi, Namak Haram, Khamoshi, Aaandhi, Mausam, Khushboo, Parichay and Maachis.
