About 250 shanties destroyed by a massive fire in Mangolpuri A massive fire in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri during the wee hours gutted around 300 'jhuggis' (slum dwellings). According to the police, one person sustained minor injuries in the incident. The residents managed to rush out of their slum dwellings in time. According to initial estimates, around 1,500 persons have been left homeless because of the fire. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ordered his officials to provide immediate relief to the victims and urged his party volunteers to help them. The blaze was reported around 2 am.
