A traffic log-jam caused due to impending state elections in Uttarakhand in north India. Cars and party supporters come together to create a traffic jam as they head out to vote for their party representative. BJP flags, drums and masses of supporters are out on the roads to greet civilians and get them to vote. Meanwhile, they leave behind a mess of plastic and thermocol cups, plates and other disposed off garbage, after a single usage for their snacks. Who cares for the environment when a state political party has to be elected? There are far more important matters at hand than the environment and matters of recycling and not using single use plastic and thermocol, they seem to think...
