Giant horned bulls and Sadhus march hand-in-hand, with long hair locks, in saffron attire at Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. They head to the Ganges or Ganga river for the royal bath or shahi snan in Allahabad, at the Triveni junction. Like the Rio parade, just more gigantic! Sadhus head for a holi dip at Triveni Sangam on Basant Panchami at Maha Kumbh Prayagraj. Basant Panchami symbolizes the transition of seasons and celebrates the arrival of the Goddess of Knowledge, Saraswati, in Hindu mythology. To honour the significance of Basant Panchami, Kalpavasis adorn themselves in vibrant yellow attire, highlighting the importance of this auspicious occasion.
