A tourist place in Ranchi. This museum is dedicated to freedom fighter Birsa Munda in Ranchi, The museum, which is built at the jail complex where Birsa Munda breathed his last. The museum is built at the cost of Rs 35 crore, and its design is based on the Cellular Jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A statue of Birsa Munda has been installed in the room where he was imprisoned by the British. Apart from this, a 30-feet-high statue of Birsa Munda, built by sculptor Ram Sutar, has been installed on the left side of the entrance. The jail complex also has a representation of Ulihatu village in Khunti district, where Birsa Munda was born.
