A view of Dhrangadhra road in Gujarat. Old British Raj days building, milk booth, phone booth can be seen. The city was the capital of Dhrangadhra State during the British Raj. In Sanskrit, during means, a stone, and Dhara means the earth. According to legends, due to the strong and widespread black stone bedrock found immediately under the soil of the place the city got its name as Dhrangadhra.
