Archival footage of air pollution in its nascent days in Delhi based in the early 1990's - the days of diesel fumes and terrible burning diesel engines in old world buses. Millions of cars ply these roads daily, more than half this number emits toxic fumes and the city chokes on it's polluting fumes. With the pollution level going increasingly high, a conscious decision to adhere to anti-pollution norms was taken in 1993 by the car manufacturers. Six years down the norms have been forgotten and the smoke has gradually turned to a polluting thick fog in the capital.
