India's economy has been in a rut for sometime and added to that is the total shutdown of the county for two months which has rendered an enormous amount of people jobless and homeless. With the number of Covid positive case rise is the rise in unemployment, loss of livelihood, hunger in India and the national capital is not spared. This is a footover bridge in Moti Bagh, South Delhi with men lying on the sides begging for a morsel of food or even a rupee as they run out of saving and lose their rented accomodations. Some are seen dozing off in their makeshift beds while others are trying their luck for a meal. Pedestrians with masks walk past them, some with bags and plants.
