As Elon Musk once quoted 'In the early days of aviation, there was a great deal of experimentation and a high perish rate.' However, the risk of flying in Nepal has greater chances of perishing. Planes flying from the Dhaulagiri base camp, cross either the Annapurna Range or as can be seen flying at a low altitude of approximately 2874 m above Ghorepani on its way to Pokhara domestic airport.
