Mahima Chaudhry: "Career shift was obvious. When I did my first commercial, I got many film offers. I was getting so many offers for films so I picked film Pardes. I really enjoyed my time as a VJ. It helped me just be myself with the camera. I didn't feel any pressure of preparation as you see in films today. We went to different places, shot it and had fun. It helped me in its own way. My Hindi wasn't very good when I did my first film. I usually spoke Nepali as that was the language in Darjeeling."
