The poor recalcitrant camel almost seems to know the fate that awaits it, and poops in fear... Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal - a goat, sheep, cow or camel - to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of God. Eid al-Adha, also called Feast of the Sacrifice, the Major Festival, the Greater Eid, Kurban Bayram, or Eid e Qurban, is the second of two religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide each year. It honours the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his young first-born son Ishmael as an act of submission to God's command and his son's acceptance to being sacrificed, before God intervened to provide Abraham with a lamb to sacrifice instead.
