Artists prepare decorative foam structures for Balaka Durgotsav 2026 in Sector 61, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The organisers have selected Victoria Memorial in Kolkata as the theme for this year's Durga Puja celebrations. Workers first cut foam sheets into shapes, carve decorative designs and apply golden paint to the finished pieces. A peacock replica made from foam is also seen among the decorative elements. After painting, the pieces are placed in direct sunlight to dry. These components are being prepared for the Victoria Memorial replica planned for the festival.
