Shashi Kapoor says "See in the household we were, of course, young, immature, not very clear-minded about our budget so always behind schedule, behind financial payment commitments. So we were in a very very tensed up mood when we were doing the shooting a Nationally protected monument in Delhi. I was also trying to help Merchant Ivory with other things besides acting because I was very involved with the film and the production.
