India has a huge population and all the more a huge amount of people amongst the populations falls even below the poverty line. They struggle to get even a square meal a day. Therefore these bhandaras are conduction where food is served to all the people. People stand in queues and receive the food. Sitting down on the pavement near AIIMS hospital many people are seen having food. food is distributed taking out from the back of a car. In the meanwhile, traffic follows its own pace and these people who have probably come to the hospital for treatment or to treat their relatives have food served in the bhandara.
