The salt pans and flats of the Little Rann of Kachh or LRK in Gujarat stretch for as far as the eye can see, well into the horizon. Workers here separate patches of salt water to dry them off in the baking sun and then collect the salt and separate it for collection and sale. The Wild Asses of the Kutch live here and little else survives apart from Flamingos when there is enough water, and some other water birds... The Rann also has Fox and a few other smaller predators.
