Walt Disney pictures first vigorous splash in the country will begin this week when its animation spectacular and Oscar Award winner Aladdin hits 100 cinema screens nationwide on 23rd December. The film, a breathless roller coaster musical adaptation of the classic Arabian tale of a street smart lad and his launch was kicked off with glitzy premieres in the cities of Delhi, Bombay, Hyderabad and Madras. Aladdin which boasts of stunning computer-generated effects and colorful visuals is the highest grossing animated feature of all times with box office receipts crossing 500 million dollars worldwide.
