Stunning shots of a white and snowy Himalayan paradise. While this is an extremely cold and deadly environment for us humans and most other species, it's actually the ideal place for a Snow Leopard to live! Snow leopards can be found through twelve different countries: Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. In the Himalayas these animals are usually spotted between 3000 and 5400 meters above sea level, where the climate is cold and dry. However, in Mongolia and Russia, these cats can be found at lower altitudes.
