Muri Junction, station code MURI, is the railway station serving the city of Muri, Ranchi in the Ranchi district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Muri Junction belongs to the Ranchi division of the South Eastern Railway Zone of the Indian Railway. Purushottam Express is a daily train which runs between Puri in Odisha and New Delhi. It is one of the oldest train that connects Puri to New Delhi. The express has been a very popular train among the people of Odisha which covers the distance in two nights and a day. With the introduction of faster trains like the Rajdhani and Sampark Kranti, Purushottam Express still manages to run packed 365 days a year.
