One by one, protestors are physically lifted and taken to trucks. The scene is almost theatrical here on the streets of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh but this is real life at a CAA rejection rally. An activist is heard speaking to a crowd as part of the rally. The crowd chanting 'Akhilesh Yadav Zindabad' is taken away for detention. Men are dragged to the waiting police vehicle with all their fours. Members of the rally can be heard chanting while being taken to the truck and from inside the truck with a placard that reads NRC CAB Wapas Lo.
