Seen from a moving barge in the Sunderbans, Bengali women fisherfolk fish for shrimp and other aquatic pickings in the backwaters of the Sunderbans in West Bengal. Other women wash their utensils in the water. Life is lived on the water here! Fish are pulled out of the nylon nets and placed within the same metal dekchi utensil.
