India's rich cultural heritage and the number of religions and people make it a country with a composite culture and pluralism. An example of these is the rakhi makers of Chandni Chowk in Delhi. When the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan arrives the Muslim women in the alleys of Old Delhi get to work to make Rakhis for their Hindu customers.
