The vintage Jayprabha Studio, formerly owned by the late Lata Mangeshkar. where several Marathi and Hindi films were made, the studio is spread over 13 acres, Jayprabha Studio was set up by legendary filmmaker Bhalji Pendharkar in 1926. Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Pendharkar named the studio after his sons, Jaysingh and Prabhakar. It was here that Pendharkar shot his popular films, Mohityanchi Manjula, Bahirji Naik, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Sadhi Manse and Tambdi Maati. This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest HD and 4K collection from South Asia.
