Pictures of France President Emmanuel Macron were pasted and trampled upon on the roads of Mumbai amid ongoing protests against him in parts of India over his defense of the right to publish cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. The pictures were pasted on many roads in Mumbai including Nagpada and Bhendi Bazar area, following outrage by sections of the Muslim community in India against the French president’s assertion.
