While some tourists opt to walk on the sands, others enjoy the waters of the Bay of Bengal at Chandrabhaga Beach in Odisha, on a speed boat that goes up and down the beach, in Orissa. Chandrabhaga Beach is situated three km east of the Sun temple of Konark, in the Puri district in the state of Odisha, India. It is 30 km from the city of Puri. Formerly Chandrabhaga was considered a place of natural cure for lepers.
