Dhan naach, which means Rice dance in English translation is a cultural dance that exists in one of the tribe called Limbu in Nepal. It is very old and traditional dance in Limbu community. It generally doesn't have any realtion with the rice but people sing and dance in slow move holding their hands together with the typical chants. This is generally being done with the boys and girls. They mostly sing about about the romantic topics. It is not easily uderstandable to every one. And most interesting part of it is they have a type of competition sometimes inside the songs that those who wins can marry the woman as well. So in the past many got married by this dance.
