Famed for its food - Char Dukani in Landour, Mussoorie. This is a small cluster of three shops/outdoor dhaba restaurants and a post office, and these turn out the best waffles, crepes and pancakes in the hills, with authentic maple syrup brought in by its patrons - mostly American and other international students of Woodstock School, and local residents of Landour town! One of the most famous hangout joints of Landour, Mussoorie - The Char Dukani. Its near the Language school where foreigners learn Hindi. Its the start of the winter season with a little drizzle here and there. People, both locals and tourists visit Char Dukan to taste the famous tea and Maggi. The place got its name Char Dukani which means four shops by the number of shops it had. Although the tiny market has extended to 6
