A rudimentary diesel-engine powered cement mixer put to work at an Indian construction site. Basic as it may be, it gets the job done, and mixes up the cement with bajri / broken small stones and reta / sand. The mixed material is then poured into the wooden container boxes created to form the base for the lintel that is about to be constructed. Most construction work in India is still done in a very low tech fashion... The cement slurry is then sent down to the construction site via a 'kaam chalao' aluminium-sheet-made chute. Tough manual labour to mix in the reta and bajri and the cement powder and have it spill all over your clothes, face and hands!
