The Shri Jagannatha Temple in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, features white Kalinga-style architecture with tall curving shikharas and brightly painted guardian lion statues at the entrance. Devotees gather in the temple courtyard and inner sanctum for Darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, whose wooden idols are decorated with traditional clothing, garlands, and crowns. During the religious celebrations, a young child dressed as Lord Krishna is seen wearing a yellow outfit, a peacock feather headpiece, pearl necklaces, and traditional festive makeup. Inside the temple hall, musicians and performers in yellow and orange traditional attire play large drums and participate in the religious ceremony as devotees gather around them.
