While the crew of Wilderness Films India was filming in Marwar, in the heat of the Indian summer, even more severe in the desert state of Rajasthan, with maximum temperatures soaring upto 50 degrees celcius, we decided to test how hot and dry it actually gets. We broke an egg onto a steel plate and filmed it getting cooked and dehydrated in front of our eyes, within a couple of minutes. Hats off the the marwaris who survive such extreme temperatures through the notorious summers of Rajasthan. Watch our experiment with the blistering heat of Rajasthan. This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest collection of HD imagery from South Asia.
