Kulti, Kanda, Mathuli villages in Jaunpur district of Garhwal, in Uttarakhand. These villages can be hiked to from around Landour and Mussoorie and still exhibit traditional Garhwali culture, with few plains and touristy influences. The milk supply of Landour comes from the milkmen of Kanda and Kulti and Prem Singh who works at Prakash's store in Sister's Bazaar hails from these villages as well! Of course, the old slate roofs of the village homes have been replaced with concrete lintels and tin roofs!
