HEIJINGPOT: On the day of Heijingpot, in the morning or afternoon, the groom's family along with relatives and guests visit the bride's family with fruit and food items (specially for the Bride and her friends). The bride's family invite their relatives and guests to be a part of this happy occasion. After the ceremony is over the bride serves her friends the various special food items brought from the groom's place which lasts till late evening. Bride's friends and relatives present her gifts. WEDDING RITUALS: The groom, his family and many guests goes to bride's residence and they are greeted by three woman at the bride's entrance with a plate covered with banana leaf containing betel nut and betel leaves.
