The girl's parents had gone for a morning walk on Saturday when the accused - Lokendra, his wife Archana and his two brothers Pradip and Sonu - entered the house. After the girl resisted rape, they poured kerosene and set her on fire. The neighbours noticed the father and rushed the girl to a local hospital, which refused to admit her. The 15-year-old was then taken to Lok Nayak Hospital in central Delhi where she died of the burn injuries.
