Puri railway station serves Puri, the sea-shore temple town in the Indian state of Odisha. Puri railway station is a busy station handling around 92 trains daily and serving about 138,000 passengers per day. Being a renowned place of piligrimage famous for the Rathayatra (Chariot pulling) and being a popular sea beach resort in eastern India, Puri Railway Station on the South Eastern Railway, is well connected by trains from all over India. Located on the east coast, Odisha (Formerly Orissa), also known as The Soul of India, is a mystical land where the hoary past and the modern today form a harmonious blend - where ancient temples mingle with modern five star hotels.
