Khalsa which means khalis which means pure in conduct, in theory, and in character. Today, this pure faith was founded just 300 years ago. 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, poet and commander of had founded Khalsa in 1699 in Anandpur Sahib by dividing water with a sword and Khanda (holy element). Khalsa was established for the protection of a repressed society and the beginning of a path to development. With the help of the supreme spiritual power of Miri Piri, Sikh Gurus found the changes in the community justified. Guru Gobind Singh Ji banished the practice of a mortal guru and established Guru Granth Sahib the holy Sikh book as the last Guru and ordered his community to follow Guru Granth Sahib as the ultimate Guru.
