The Dhaula Kuan Metro Station is located on the Delhi Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro. This station will be the only elevated one along the Airport Express Line and will feature check-in facilities. However, it is not expected to commence operations along with the rest of the line and trains will run through the station without stopping initially. This station was opened for public for the first time on Independence Day, Monday 15.08.2011. Delhi, officially the National Capital Territory (NCT) that includes the Indian capital New Delhi, is the second most populous metropolis in India after Mumbai.
