See the pollen sacs full of pollen granules as these are brought in like aircraft engines on each wing! An unidentified Stingless Bee or Meliponini colony is busy buzzing in and out of the little hollow opening inside a tree trunk. The worker bees are buzzing in and out of the small hollow which is made up of cerumen and even the inside of the hollow. Notice the big yellow pollens mounds on the legs of the worker bees as they work for honey. Beekeeping for honey is not just confined to honey bees but even the hundreds of species of Stingless Bees which are found in tropics. The honey from these bees are said to be of medicinal values and are being used in medicinal research.
