A Shikra known as little-banded Goshawk sits on a tree on one leg. It ruffles its feathers and draws back one of its legs inside its feathers. Shikras are small raptors that are birds of prey and feed on small mammals, reptiles and insects. They are usually found in the open woodlands and are residents breeders in India.
