For the first time, Indian Council of Agricultural Research participates in the Republic Day parade, showcases integrated farming system. ‘Mishrit kheti, Khushiyon ki kheti’, the integrated farming system for doubling farm income, is the theme of the official tableau of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26. The tableau of ICAR at the Republic Day-2018 parade exhibits integrated farming system which is a judicious mix of two or more agri-enterprise system for minimum resource competition and maximum complementary so as to support eco-friendly production, enhance employment, income and enrich family nutrition.
