Cassiope fastigiata flowers on an alpine meadow near Kiarkoti en route the Lamkhaga Pass trail which passes into Himachal Pradesh. A shepherd takes his flock onto a rocky high altitude trail above the meadows, to graze, in upper Garhwal, Uttarakhand Himalaya in India.
