Kumar Gandharva foundation was established by the students of famous singer Kumar Gandharva in his memory in Mumbai on the occasion of the 600th birth anniversary of Indian poet Kabir. Cheif guest of the ceremony was Indian singer Anup Jalota. Dr. Padmanand Yadav, a student of Kumar Gandharva sang the Bhajans of Kabir. Kumar Gandharva played an important role to spread Kabir's sayings.
