Bobby Deol says "As per the promos which are coming on the television I have a beard but every movie has a different story and different characters. Similarly, I have a different character in this film as I am playing a terrorist in this film. India has seen such a situation so many times where innocents are killed for no reason just like it happened in Punjab or almost any other state in India has just disturbances occurring again and again. This story is based in Punjab as our director Raj Kanwar's family was also killed during the Punjab 1980 riots."
