Container, trucks, cars, motor bikes and auto rickshaws , etc are passing through the Mahanadi Road Bridge in Cuttack, Odisha. Mahanadi road bridge is connecting the city of Cuttack and Jagatpur. It is one of the longest bridge of India. One can see the moving traffic of the bridge and the rail bridge. This bridge is built over Mahanadi river. The Mahanadi is a major river in East Central India. It drains an area of around 141,600 square kilometres (54,700 sq mi) and has a total course of 858 kilometres (533 mi). The river flows through the states of Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The first Mahanadi Rail Bridge was opened on 1 January 1899.
